Use your TFSA to start building wealth

Événement

Not everyone can become an entrepreneur or a real estate baron; the rest of us need to use the savings and investment tools available to us to achieve financial stability. A Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) can be one of the most powerful financial tools available to students and young professionals – but many people aren’t sure how it actually works or how to get started. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of the TFSA, including contribution limits, tax-free growth, and how a TFSA can support both short- and long-term financial goals. You’ll also explore simple ways to start investing within a TFSA using tools like ETFs and robo-advisors. Designed for students with little or no investing experience, this session will help you build the confidence to take your first practical steps toward saving and investing. CULTURE MONTRÉAL EN CARTE

About this map

Montréal has a rich cultural offering, but information is scattered across websites, social networks, noticeboards and posters. Getting an overview can be difficult. Montréal en culture aims to simplify discovery by bringing cultural activities together in all their variety. The project is also inspired, with some nostalgia, by the weekly calendar of the cultural magazine View, which featured a varied offering, from shows to talks and from popular events to more unconventional activities. Adding a map, Montréal en culture invites you to explore that richness across the city. Still a prototype, this independent project aims to become an essential reference for cultural outings in Montréal.

The site was originally designed for desktop use. A mobile interface is now available.

A broad understanding of culture

The directory takes a broad view of culture: artistic creation, presentation, heritage, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for discovery or participation. It covers the Montréal urban agglomeration, including its associated islands. Its scope develops with the sources and activities recorded.
