With its rich array of instruments and musical traditions, the UdeM World Music Ensemble invites you to a vibrant evening where jazz meets Latin-inspired rhythms. Blending improvisation, groove, and percussion, this concert will showcase the sonic diversity and creativity of the students in the Faculty of Music, guided by their professors. The festive and warm atmosphere of these evenings often inspires the audience to get up and dance, swept away by the performers’ infectious energy. A true musical journey at the crossroads of cultures and styles, where the stage becomes a space for connection and celebration. CE SPECTACLE EST GRATUIT!

CULTURE MONTRÉAL EN CARTE

About this map

Montréal has a rich cultural offering, but information is scattered across websites, social networks, noticeboards and posters. Getting an overview can be difficult. Montréal en culture aims to simplify discovery by bringing cultural activities together in all their variety. The project is also inspired, with some nostalgia, by the weekly calendar of the cultural magazine View, which featured a varied offering, from shows to talks and from popular events to more unconventional activities. Adding a map, Montréal en culture invites you to explore that richness across the city. Still a prototype, this independent project aims to become an essential reference for cultural outings in Montréal.

The site was originally designed for desktop use. A mobile interface is now available.

A broad understanding of culture

The directory takes a broad view of culture: artistic creation, presentation, heritage, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for discovery or participation. It covers the Montréal urban agglomeration, including its associated islands. Its scope develops with the sources and activities recorded.
