Based on the remarkable true story, Come From Away follows the kind-hearted people of Gander and the 7,000 passengers forced to land there when US airspace closed during the September 11 attacks. As fear gripped the world, this small town turned strangers into family. Uneasiness became trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into lasting friendships. This uplifting Tony Award®-winning musical is a celebration of human connection and the extraordinary power of people coming together when it matters most. Join the worldwide phenomenon loved by millions, live at the Segal Centre. COME FROM AWAY Is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). CULTURE MONTRÉAL EN CARTE

About this map

Montréal has a rich cultural offering, but information is scattered across websites, social networks, noticeboards and posters. Getting an overview can be difficult. Montréal en culture aims to simplify discovery by bringing cultural activities together in all their variety. The project is also inspired, with some nostalgia, by the weekly calendar of the cultural magazine View, which featured a varied offering, from shows to talks and from popular events to more unconventional activities. Adding a map, Montréal en culture invites you to explore that richness across the city. Still a prototype, this independent project aims to become an essential reference for cultural outings in Montréal.

The site was originally designed for desktop use. A mobile interface is now available.

A broad understanding of culture

The directory takes a broad view of culture: artistic creation, presentation, heritage, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for discovery or participation. It covers the Montréal urban agglomeration, including its associated islands. Its scope develops with the sources and activities recorded.
