2026 QWF Awards Gala

Événement

Join us for an evening of literary magic at the 2026 QWF Literary Awards Gala. On Monday, November 9, Cabaret Lion d’Or (1676 Ontario St. East) transforms into a dazzling celebration of Quebec’s finest wordsmiths as we reveal the winners of the 2026 QWF Literary Awards. The event will be hosted by writer, podcaster, and professor Linda Morra. The theme of this year’s gala is “Fancy Schmancy.” Attendees are invited to get in the spirit of the theme by dressing extravagantly, luxuriously, or to impress. Come in a black tie or ballroom gloves. Wear a regal cape or your tallest top hat. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box: Formal attire is not required. Dressing to the theme is optional but welcome. Join us for a cocktail reception with the finalists preceding the Gala from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. VIP tickets to the reception are $60 ($40 for full-time students) and include two glasses of wine, beer or non-alcoholic drink; hors d’oeuvres; and admission to the awards ceremony, which begins at 8:00 pm. Tickets for the ceremony alone are $25 ($10 for full-time students). Doors for the ceremony open at 7:30 pm. Reserve your tickets now and prepare for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate literary excellence in Quebec. Get Tickets Announcements The 2026 QWF Awards Finalists More announcements to follow

CULTURE MONTRÉAL EN CARTE

About this map

Montréal has a rich cultural offering, but information is scattered across websites, social networks, noticeboards and posters. Getting an overview can be difficult. Montréal en culture aims to simplify discovery by bringing cultural activities together in all their variety. The project is also inspired, with some nostalgia, by the weekly calendar of the cultural magazine View, which featured a varied offering, from shows to talks and from popular events to more unconventional activities. Adding a map, Montréal en culture invites you to explore that richness across the city. Still a prototype, this independent project aims to become an essential reference for cultural outings in Montréal.

The site was originally designed for desktop use. A mobile interface is now available.

A broad understanding of culture

The directory takes a broad view of culture: artistic creation, presentation, heritage, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for discovery or participation. It covers the Montréal urban agglomeration, including its associated islands. Its scope develops with the sources and activities recorded.
