Horizons of Montreal and Canada- Visualizing our roots, our diversity and our environment
Exposition
The show is targeted to show through abstract and semi abstract art, how Montreal has become a weave of cultures that interconnect to one another. Distinct coloured swathes may portray certain ethic groups that have populated certain areas of Montreal or indigenous roots that appear in reference to Montreal with respect to their attachment to the land. But there are also swirls, circuit and ripple visual abstractions used to communicate Montreal’s unique multicultural heritage. Coloured lines may traverse those swathes and other geometrical abstractions to connect those groups. The artist hopes to intrigue viewers to this sinuosity or network by incorporating a multidimensional aspect to his work.
